The Band have again been invited to participate in the Southend Choral Society Christmas Concert at the King's Road United Reform Church (formerly Crowstone Church) in Westcliff-on-Sea. This year the choir will also be joined by the West Leigh Choir under the baton of Mrs. Jan Walker.

Tickets will be available from Southend Choral Society, via their website close to the concert http://www.southendchoral.org/

BAND - please be in attendance before 1830hrs to ensure setup is correct.

The band will participate in the annual carol service at Bradleigh Avenue United Reformed Church in Grays. Following the service, and a break for minced pies, there will be a short festive concert given by the Band.

Bandmembers are requested to arrive by 1430hrs and meet in the side-room.

Public service of remembrance at Civic Square, Tilbury. This service is lead by the Royal British Legion with many local organisations to be represented. The Band will accompany "I Vow To Thee My Country" (Gustav Holst) as well as provide Arthur Sullivan's "Onward Christian Soldiers" and the Last Post and Reville/Rouse.

The PLA Remembrance Service has become a regular feature of the Band's year. The Band has always considered this event a privilage to accompany and contribute towards and ask as many Bandmembers as possible to attend. The service will start sharply at 6pm, although musicians are requested to attend as close to 5pm as possible.
